Family Therapy
Family therapy brings family members together to address relational dynamics and improve how they interact and support one another. This approach helps families navigate transitions, conflicts, and mental health issues that impact the household, encouraging open communication, empathy, and collaboration to build a stronger family unit.
Service Information:
With family therapy, an individual within the family is identified as the client for insurance billing purposes and documentation. To initiate services, a Diagnostic Assessment is required for the identified client within the family members that are attending. If one was completed recently and meets the criteria, we can utilize the current Diagnostic Assessment. The subsequent sessions will be family therapy with and potentially without the client and individual therapy depending on the concerns and recommendation for therapy. Interactive complexity may be billed with services due to the intricacy of the session.
