Kimberley Wobschall
MA, LMFT
Accepting new clients in Andover and via telehealth.
Kimberley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She thinks the key to working on mental health issues is understanding ourselves and the connections and interactions with others. She believes partnering with people on their journey towards healing is a sacred honor.
Kimberley is passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma. She believes that trauma work should start by strengthening and stabilizing the present. Once this has been established, the deeper work of the trauma can take place. The work of trauma can be done without having to relive the events; this prevents re-traumatization.
Kimberley goes beyond the traditional therapy approach by discussing thoughts and feelings through working with the body. She pays attention to motion, the 5 senses (sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch), and internal sensations, such as rapid heart rate and the stomach tightening.
